Beginning
with Christ
What does it mean to trust someone?
This initial activity, a trust fall, will help you to better understand what it
means to place absolute trust in another. Organize yourselves into groups of
five. Form a circle with one person in the middle. With eyes closed, the person
in the middle should slowly "fall" in whatever direction he chooses.
It is the group’s job to keep him from falling to the floor. After several
falls, switch positions and continue until everyone has had a turn in the
middle.
Revelation 3:20
Hebrews 13:5-8
What has Christ
promised you?
Will Christ ever leave you? (v.5)
Why or why not? (v.8)
What is the door?
Who is knocking?
Who opens the door?
John 1:12 1 John
5:11-13
What does it
mean to receive Christ?
Where does eternal life come from? (v.11)
How does one become a child of God?
What are the two kinds of people? (v.12)
Can we be confident of having eternal life?
This train diagram illustrates the relationship among fact (God
and His Word), faith (our trust in god and His Word), and feeling
(the result of our faith and obedience). The train will run with or
without the caboose, and the caboose cannot pull the train. We as Christians do
not depend on feelings or emotions, but we place our faith (trust) in the
trustworthiness of God and the promises of His Word.

Certificate
Lord Jesus, I
want to know You personally. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I
open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for
forgiving me of my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne
of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.
